Please review the Fee Schedule (see Figure 1) and read the information for online payments below carefully, since we no longer accept cash payments. If you are unsure how much you owe; or have other payment questions, please contact the Law Library at (904) 255-1150 before proceeding to payment.

In addition to the fee indicated above for your transaction you will be charged a nonrefundable variable service fee of 3.5% for card payments or a service fee of $5.00 if you choose to pay with a bank account.
 
The payment system will automatically add the service fee to your payment. The following examples depict the total payment amount of your transaction based on your chosen method of payment and the fee schedule above:
 
Document Reproduction Fees: The fee for printing (or copying) 5 pages is $1.25 (this is the number of pages multiplied by the $0.25 per page fee). Paying with a card: 3.5% of the $1.25 amount, which is $0.04, is added to the $1.25 amount. The total payment is $1.29. Paying with a bank account: The service fee of $5.00 is added to the $1.25 amount. The total payment is $6.25.
 
Notarizations: The fee to notarize one document is $10.00. Paying with a card: 3.5% of the $10.00 amount, which is $0.35, is added to the $10.00 amount. The total payment is $10.35. Paying with a bank account: The service fee of $5.00 is added to the $10.00 amount. The total payment is $15.00.
 
CLE Rentals: The rental fee for one Continuing Legal Education CD is $40.00. Paying with a card: 3.5% of the $40.00 amount, which is $1.40, is added to the $40.00. The total payment is $41.40. Paying with a bank account: The service fee of $5.00 is added to the $40.00 amount. The total payment is $45.00.

2.  Once you click Pay Now, you will be directed to a secure page on MyPaymentPortal.com. To change the amount shown in the “Payment Information” box or to cancel the transaction at any time, click Cancel Payment. To proceed with payment, please fill in the required information under “Contact Information” and “Billing Address” (See Figure 3 for example). *You must provide an email address that you can access, since you will receive email notification of payment from the service provider. This is your proof of payment and must be presented to library staff. When you are ready to proceed, click Continue.

3.  As before (Figure 2), the amount entered will appear next to “Duval County Law Library PayNowLink” on the first line. The second line lists the service fee. The service fee automatically changes based on the Payment Method that is selected. Your “Total Payment” includes the service fee. See the options below to choose a method of payment:
 
a.  To pay with a credit card, please select the drop-down arrow next to Credit Card and enter the required information. Once you are finished and ready to pay, click Pay with Credit Card (See Figure 4 for example)
 
b.  To pay with a bank account, please select the drop-down arrow next to Bank Account and enter the required information. Once you are finished and ready to pay, click Pay with Bank Account. (See Figure 5 for example)
 
c.  To use Google Pay, please select the drop-down arrow next to Google Pay. Click the G Pay button and follow the on-screen instructions for payment (See Figure 6 for example).

4.  As indicated above, you will receive a confirmation email from noreply@mypaymentportal.com shortly after submitting payment (See Figure 7 for example). Please arrive at the library with the email displayed on your phone or with the Payment Receipt number on hand.
